Fetrow Insurance Associates has been providing residents with great insurance products since 1957. We are a third-generation insurance agency whose primary objective is to give you the best possible service.
Family and Education
Fetrow Insurance believes in providing exceptional service with a high level of professionalism and consideration. Ed Fetrow and his two sons, Alan and Grant, who are also principal agents, were all born and raised in central Pennsylvania. They all left to pursue college degrees – Ed at Ohio University, Alan at Penn State University, and Grant at West Virginia University – before returning to their roots. In 2018, Grant moved to Beaver Pa, adding a second location to the agency footprint.
Ed also holds the prestigious Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and has over 45years of industry experience. Alan has the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation and has over 15 years of experience. Grant has over 12 years of insurance experience. In addition to the three principal agents, Fetrow Insurance Associates boasts a 10-person staff who all take pride in being able to serve their customer’s needs.

Our Mechanicsburg office is located at 5299 E Trindle Rd, next to the Mechanicsburg Support Activity South Gate on East Trindle Road in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The office is located on one of the original farm tracts that the U.S. Government bought in 1941 to build the Mechanicsburg Navy Supply Base. The town’s name originated from the covered wagon mechanics that used to set up shop along Trindle and Simpson Ferry Roads as early as 1811.
Our Beaver office, 381 3rd St, is located blocks from the center of downtown Beaver Pa. The picturesque Borough of Beaver was originally the site of Fort McIntosh and was considered a prime location for a town because of its location at the confluence of the Beaver and Ohio Rivers. The fort was abandoned in 1788 and razed a short time later. By then, the frontier had moved westward and there was no further need for a permanent garrison to protect the area.

Our History
An Erie agency for over 65 years, Fetrow Insurance is a third-generation family business where “service above self” is our mission. We specialize in home, auto, life and business insurance, including garage liability for auto dealers.
Agency principal, Ed Fetrow began his career as an adjuster with Erie following his graduation from Ohio University. In 1980, Ed acquired the Loren C Rider Insurance Agency located in Mechanicsburg Pa.
Agency principal Alan Fetrow has been in the insurance business since 2007. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Penn State University, as well as the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
Agency principal Grant Fetrow joined the agency in 2009 after graduating from West Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
In 2018 Fetrow Insurance acquired Insurance Unlimited, located at 381 3rd St, Beaver Pa, formally owned and operated by Craig Nunamaker and Edward McGlaughlin.
On January 1st, 2021, Bob Tracy Insurance joined forces with Fetrow Insurance Associates. Bob Tracy Insurance was founded by Robert Tracy Jr in 1980. Rob Tracy III joined the agency in 1990 following his graduation from Penn State University. In 2008, Rob acquired the agency upon Bob Jr’s retirement. In December 2021, Rob Tracy III decided to retire leaving Grant Fetrow as the sole principal agent in our Beaver office.
